4/9/13 - London, England, The Maidstone Studios, "Later... With Jools Holland"
Setlist:
Bully 1 - ~4:25 (original broadcast)
Bully 2 - 4:25 (re-broadcast)
Total Time - ~9:00
Bully 2:
This is the 20th performance of the year and the 38th performance of the ''Sun'' tour.
This is Cat Power's fourth appearance on "Later... With Jools Holland", following her May 2003, 6/20/06 and 2/1/08 appearances. This is the third TV performance in promotion of "Sun". This is also Cat Power's first performance in England since 9/6/08.
The choice of song for this performance was a surprise. "Bully" has been in the live setlist since October 2010, and has been performed at most concerts since then. Like her recent performance on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon", Chan once again does not have the full band with her, this time she is backed only by Gregg on piano. Also surprising is the news that the song is now available on itunes as a new bonus track for "Sun".
Bully was actually performed twice. Apparantly, the first version was included in the original broadcast, before being replaced by the second version, in re-broadcasts. According to some comments on youtube from people who saw the first one, it was a better performance than the second. Does anyone have this original broadcast?
Here is how to tell them apart. At the beginning of the clips Jools introduces Cat Power. In doing so he passes by The Strypes in the background.
1st version - Strypes moving around:
2nd version - Strypes sitting:

Very interesting! Some commenters on youtube brought up that there are 2 performances of "Bully". Thanks to 15underpar on youtube for sending me a snippet of video which shows that "Bully" was indeed performed twice, with the 1st version being included in the original broadcast. I added some screenshots in the first post to show the difference. If anyone has a copy of this, I would love to see it. Its supposedly better than the clip that is currently on youtube.

Wow, i must admit that i was very skeptical that there were 2 versions. I don't see any reason why they would do such a thing, considering the qualty of the first broadcast version. It's a question for Gregg...

In particular watch her legs before the first line, she'll kick her right leg in the second clip. Sorry about the horrible quality here.
