They say "Number of Discs: 1" for the vinyl but i wouldn't pay to much attention to that. This could be the standard vinyl edition. I advise you to wait for more informations.

She says something after the first mention of spain, it sounds like it starts with a "M"?

Doesnt sound like Mexico. It's whispered like how she says "Tokyo" later in the song. So it's a bit hard to make out.

I think she says Wollongong, it's in Australia south of Sydney. By the way, I've read on a few sites that Sun comes out August 31st down here (New Zealand) and Australia.

The bare bones chords of Ruin are something like Dm to C for the intro using arpeggiated chords.
On guitar you can play it on the top three strings in the Dm & C barre positions on the 5th and 3rd frets.
Moving to the chorus it's Dm C F G.
The lower part that runs throughout is just the root of the chords and the octave above alternately.
Higher up there's also a bit of a chromatic run going from F then A B C / C B A.

Make any sense? Probably not perfect but my guitar isn't tuned and my keyboard has broken keys.

Last time i checked, it was over 20, it must be close to 30 by now.
I really love it, it soothed my nerves when i needed this week. I even danced on it, and it never happened to me before with Cat Power's music.

Je l'aime vraiment, elle m'a d'ailleurs permis de me calmer cette semaine alors que j'en avais vraiment besoin. J'ai même dansé dessus, ce qui doit être la première fois que ça m'arrive sur du Cat Power.

Yeah, you're right. Anyway that's not the first time somebody complains about that on iTunes.

Plus j'écoute RUIN et plus je l'aime. On peut danser sur du Cat Power maintenant! Ca déchire, ce titre est génial. Le rythme est entraînant et j'adore le débit de Chan, les césures... AWESOME!!!

Je pense que j'ai désormais saoulé tout mon entourage à force de l'écouter en boucle.

Me too! It's great and so is Cherokee. And "Real Life" is supposed to be upbeat too! This album cant get here soon enough.

I have tried, but cant get my friends to get into Cat Power. But that's okay because all my Cat Power friends are here.

That seems a bit odd, don't you think? I saw web sites in Belgium and in Switzerland talking about a august 31 release too.
I'll try to figure it out...
Anyway, i you have a good independant record dealer, you should be able to get it before the official release date...

So, the bonus tracks are the same as on itunes but the way i understand "LPs include download coupon for MP3s of the entire album" is that there won't be mp3 for the 7" songs.
Definitely no "Let me Go" or "Woman of my word": next time...
