Qn reconnaît la chanson? Je sèche...

Ça ressemble à un standard mais ça ne me dit rien non plus.

Comme je viens simplement de découvrir cette formidable version de 1998 de "Silent Machine", un temps (et peut-être toujours) pressentie pour intégrer "SUN", je ne résiste pas à la tentation de la partager: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=of2X66--zS4

Je ne la connaissais pas, merci. C'est fort sympathique. Tu sais qui l'accompagne à la guitare? (à moins que ce ne soit elle...) Ca ne sonne pas bcp comme du Cat Power cuvée '98, je trouve.

On verra si elle figure sur SUN et surtout va-t-on la reconnaître...

Je la connaissais cette itw. Elle est intéressante, c'est vrai, mais on la sent vraiment pas à l'aise, nerveuse...J'me suis sentie mal pour elle.

Elle est accompagnée de Mark Moore pour la 2nde guitare et de Jim White à la batterie. Le concert entier est très, très bon. Comme Cokelike, je le conseille...

C'est vrai qu'elle est nerveuse mais le grand intérêt de la vidéo, outre ce qui est dit, c'est de nous proposer une interview presque sans montage. Ça permet de constater que Chan a l'esprit très affuté, avec un grand sens de la répartie par moments.

That soft focus interview is so funny! Both Cat Power and the interviewer. I love how she makes him trade seats with her and then says something about one side of her face looking bad because she slept on it as a kid. She's so hilarious.

I believe this was a tribute concert for Benjamin Smoke that several performers played at.

New footage from Chan's 2000 concert in Washington (Black cat?). The video quality is shockingly good for a non professionnal recording!

This is from Olympia, Washington, Capitol Theater, 8/2/00, I believe. There is already one video of this out there but I do not have a copy. Even so, awesome footage!! This is the beginning of her set, 1st 3 songs.
