Re: 6/28/13 - Munich, Germany, Theaterfabrik
Je te préviens, je suis en train d'écrire un mail à Gregg dans lequel je l'informe de ta venue, du coup ils seront probablement déçus si tu ne les salue pas.
Re: 6/28/13 - Munich, Germany, Theaterfabrik
First of all: thank you Nico! And thank you Gregg!
Gregg received your e-mail and I got the chance to chat a little bit with him. He's adorable.
I talked a little bit with Adeline and she remembered meeting Cokelike in the US.
It was an awesome show! A good energy!
I didn't have the chance to meet Chan, but she saw me begging for a setlist and handed me one.
When I met Gregg he got back on the bus and gave the setlist to Chan. She wrote a kind message and signed it. I'll post it here when I'll be at home in a couple of days. I feel blessed tonight! An amazing show, great encounters, METAL HEART and a signed setlist!
Good night everybody!

Re: 6/28/13 - Munich, Germany, Theaterfabrik
Hi everybody! I'm back from Munich.
I don't know what to say first.
That show was very good. There was great chemistry in the band. I was pretty impressed by Alianna on drums and by Gregg. He did an amazing solo on Shivers. He has the talent and the attitude! Besides, he's lovely and chatting with him was a great gift!
I arrived in front of the venue about 1h before the doors opening. The tour bus was just in front of the doors. I saw Gregg but I didn't talk to him, was not drunk enough to dare. I also saw Alianna and Adeline walking.
The opening band was not bad, but a little bit repetitive in my opinion.
I was in the first row on the left. Then Chan arrived on stage and the magic begun. I have to admit that I was really moved. The Greatest is not my favorite song even though I think this is a wonderful one, very well written but I think seeing her turned me upside down and I cried a little bit.
I really enjoyed King Rides By, Metal Heart, Ruin, Always on my own, Silent Machine... I was surprised by Peace and Love, I found it really fit for a show as it is very lively.
I used to like Angelitos, but I'm a little bit bored to hear it now.
After a few songs, Chan asked Lucia Ribisi to get in the public in order to take pictures. So she went in the first row, just in front of Chan. When Chan sang Nothin but Time, it was pretty moving as she sang it looking at her.
And finally I had the chance to hear my favorite one, Metal Heart. I don't know how to describe what I felt. I cried for the second time. I know it sounds ridiculous ...
At the end of the show, Chan threw a few setlists. I waved at her, shouting her name. She saw me, blinked at me and handed me one. It was an intense moment for me as you can imagine.
Then I got out and waited near the tour bus. Gregg arrived 10mn after. We had a nice chat. Talked about the show, about his incredible solo on Shivers. I thanked him for answering all the forum's questions. He said he was happy to do that for us. He told me that he met you Nico and that you were very cool and respectful. We discussed about all the songs Chan recorded and that never got on Sun. He hopes they will be out one day because they're really good. Then I asked if Chan could come out to say Hello. He told me she was busy writing stuff. Then I asked him if he could give the setlist in order she signed it. He agreed and came back a few minutes later. I saw Adeline and asked her to sign it as well. She was very kind. She seems to be shy but responded very gently. Maybe I scared her a little bit as I was very excited.
It was a magical evening. Chan seemed to be comfortable on stage and very moved by the warm audience.
Thank you Chan for that unforgetable moment, Thank you Gregg for the lovely chat and Thank you Cat Power for this incredible show!
Last but not least, thank you Nicolaoua. Tu m'as donné le courage d'aller lui parler. Sans ton aide et ton petit coup de pied aux fesses, je n'aurais jamais osé. Je ne l'oublierai pas!

You're welcome Sab, it was the least i could do.
And Chan's words are so cool! Don't put the setlist in your wallet this time!
