Cherokee and its remix: free download!

This morning, i was listening to this 1999 Seattle concert version of "Nude as the News" and in the way Chan was singing it i heard something foreshadowing "Cherokee", especially at 1'15 and 2'19 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuNVxmXfkxA&feature=player_embedded#!

What do you think?

It seems to be an interesting version, without the heavy beat, at least on the 1 minute excerpt.

Je crois qu'on peut d'ores et déjà acheter et télécharger ce titre mais comme je ne suis pas fana d'itunes, j'attends vos avis.

I had already signed up for the mailing list. I got the email about "The Greatest" when it was on itunes for 4.99, but I didnt get an email about this. So I signed up again with the same email and got the new track.

It is heavenly as Nathynat pointed out. Almost like a church organ sound. And the clattering keyboard effect at the beginning almost sounds like a film projector. I prefer the original over this remix though. In fact, rarely do I like a remix of something better than the original. At least, for this type of remix.

The picture that came with the track is interesting. At first I thought "Is that a Jeep Cherokee?" But its a Ford so it cant be. What's the symbol mean?

If we follow the idea of the Futhark, the Vikings alphabet, it could be Wunjo, like Sowelu for Sun.

What I suppose seems to be crazy but why not!? We know she has a great spirituality.
Or we have to search in other animist beliefs like American Indians. The video of Cherokee will appear to be shot in the desert no?

As i stated in another post, i wouldn't be surprised to see Cherokee's video appear on the web sometime between 16:00 at 19:00 GMT today...
