Theses were the 45th, 46th and 47th performances of the tour. The show on 4/27/03 was a solo performance. The Dirty Three opened at all shows. Following this, there was one more show in Los Angeles before the tour headed to Europe in May.

After last year's incredible performance, I went to see Chan at the same San Francisco venue I saw her at this time last year - the Great American Music Hall. One of my all-time favorite places, but unfortunately this show was a weak effort by Cat Power. Folks were talking throughout the show, and normally this would piss me off, but I don't blame them - she obviously was not putting much effort into the performance. Toward the end of her lackluster set, a group of people began to leave and Chan stopped singing to bid them goodbye. I love her music, but this show simply wasn't any good.
