As far as i'm concerned, these last 3 are "what the fuck" moments. Very indie, indeed...

There are also videos for "Maybe Not", "Free", "Half Of You" (all on the Speaking For Trees DVD), "Disown, Delete", "Great Waves" and for some reason a 2nd video of "Where Is My Love". Also the newest, "King Rides By".

The "Living Proof" video, directed by Harmony Korine, is outstanding in my opinion. Her best video. Weird, and bizarre and nonsensical? You bet, but give me that in a music video anyday over a bunch of bowlers. I've been meaning to track down some more of his work. I saw "Gummo" when that came out and was blown away. Cat Power picks some really cool people to work with.

I like the "Cross Bones Style" video, but decided to make my own edit that's completely Chan shots. It's also worth noting that the music video runs for 3:19, while the actual album cut is 4:32. There's a cut somewhere around the 2 minute mark.

@1:36, racehorse named "Living Proof" on the bar's TV. Awesome.

By the way, does anybody have a high quality version of Cross Bones Style video (or any other Cat Power "old" songs videos)? Even on Cat Power official web site, the quality of these videos is subpar.

Thanks, but it's still highly pixelated! I suppose that's what happen when artists are indies: not enough money to spend on analog to digital transfer of old video material.

Yeah, an official DVD would be awesome and should happen.

And the X means it was canceled. I wonder what this would have been?

Interesting! I wonder too why a project that already has a release code can be canceled. It must have been a late decision.

And yes Peace & Love should have had its own video. Ruin would have deserved one too (honestly it's the killer track of the album if not the best). I sense a missed opportunity here. With a full video, it would have had tv broadcast and therefore more impact on the charts.

"Nude", "Bones" and "He War" have all been recently re-uploaded to the official Matador channel on YT.

The audio on "Nude" sounds flanged or something... there is something wrong with that one.

A few weeks ago, Matador uploaded "Free" and i clearly heard a problem with the sound too.

Woaw, the Cross Bones Style video is much better than the one that was uploaded last month! This time, it really looks like true HD!
