Short comments:

Cat Power’s late afternoon set — attended by ex-Houston Texans linebacker Connor Barwin — was divisive. Core fans were thrilled but between her opener, the dirge-y “The Greatest,” and the end of the set there was noticeable attrition as attendees migrated toward Matt & Kim.

The new stuff like “Cherokee” and “Nothin’ but Time” played well, and some older tunes were rearranged but Chan Marshall seemed a bit jittery . . . Even by her jittery standards.
