This is the 19th performance of the year and the 37th performance of the ''Sun'' tour.

This TV performance was originally scheduled for 9/11/12, a week after the release of the "Sun" album and a month before the beginning of the North American "Sun" tour. The appearance was canceled at the last minute due to scheduling conflicts.

This is the second TV performance in promotion of "Sun", following her 11/7/12 TV performance on "Conan". More TV performances are to follow on "Later... With Jools Holland" in England and "Taratata" in France (*This was later canceled).

For this TV performance, Chan has her bandmates Gregg Foreman and Nico Turner on Keyboard and Drums. Joining them are 2 members of the Late Night house band, Questlove? on drums and "Captain" Kirk Douglas on guitar.

The official "Manhattan" music video was released online just the day before, on 4/4/13.
