This was the eleventh performance of the Sun tour. This concert was moved from the Pabst Theater. Entrance and X-Ray Eyeballs opened.
There are 2 audience recordings of this concert available in flac. Both are stereo, though one of them is much better sounding than the other. I have added the times for the better recording above. There is also an incomplete MP4 which features the majority of this concert available.

Pictures and Comments
X-Ray Eyeballs - I really got into their music at these shows.
----------------------
Entrance - Guy was just insane good. I actually cried during his set. But then I also had a rum and coke that was about 80% rum. I had waaaay too much fun at this show.
---------------------
---------------------
This concert was nothing less than the time of my life. I was right up against the edge of the stage. Everyone surrounding me were the coolest people ever. I had way to many rum and cokes. I meet some awesome people and an especially cool girl named Myra. She the funnest person I have ever been to a concert with. We smoked cigarettes together under my scarf during the show. We both recorded video and we were singing together and having a blast!! We got all kind of pictures.
Me and X-Ray Eyeballs -
------------------------------
Me and Kelsey, who watched the show with me and her friend Myra.
------------------------------
Kelsey, Myra and OJ from X-Ray Eyeballs
-------------------------------
Chan wrote on my Sun album. As far as I can tell she wrote "I name you X" or ?? Fitting for the state I was in. Later Kelsey, Myra, Jen and I all meet Annika, Alianna, Nico and Adeline by the bus. As you can tell from above, my kind of drunken theme for the night was taking these back-to-back pictures, like Run-DMC or something. So I organized a picture of all of us. I will post it when I get a copy. It has Kelsey and Myra back-to-back, Nico and Adeline back-to-back and Alianna and Me back-to-back. All looking tough like Run-DMC. It was hilarious! I was so toast. I then got them to all sign different corners of the album and I even got to talk with Alianna and Nico for like 10 minutes each. They were all so sweet! Nico wrote "Gratitude" on the album to say thank you to me for being a fan and coming to the shows. I probably sounded insane, I was so incoherent. But they rolled with it.

Cokelike, I'm reading your post again and again!
You amaze me! I don't know if I'll have the guts to do what you did! Do you realize what happened to you in only a few days?!?
You saw Chan three times, she told you that she loves you too , you had 2 LP signed, you met the band, talk to them and take pictures of/with them, met great people! I'm so proud of you!!!

Re: 10/29/12 – Milwaukee, WI, Turner Hall
My friend looked at the album and he thinks that Chan wrote "Name" instead of her name and then a heart and then you and then an x. So "Name (Chan) Loves You, X". This makes sense to me.

Re: 10/29/12 – Milwaukee, WI, Turner Hall
^ Wow, that review above runs very contrary to what I experienced.
The lights didn’t seem to match the music that was being played.
After seeing 3 shows, I can say this is wrong. The lighting set-up and projections for this tour were meticulously planned and executed. Nothing seemed amiss at this concert compared to the other ones I saw. And even if they were... so what.
Considering Cat Power didn’t go on until 10, some of the crowd left early.
The box office opened at 6. The doors opened at 7. X-Ray Eyeballs were on the stage by 8 or so and Entrance at 9. Both opening bands played around a half hour each. Cat Power starting at 10 was very reasonable. Jeez... Also I admit that I didnt turn around during her show that much to check whether people were leaving (why would I?). But I distinctly remember commenting on how the place looked half full just before Entrance. After he played and before Cat Power, the place was by then packed as far as I could tell. The whole floor was filled and people on the balcony as well. I dont really buy that people were leaving before she came on. Why would people do that... "Oh, we came to see Cat Power, but its 10:00 now... guess we better leave..."
Throughout the two opening bands, whom never said their names and are not listened on the tour website, people left. If I hadn’t wanted to see Cat Power, I probably would have left too. The opening bands weren’t much to be wooing over.
Again, no. People arrived! The place gradually filled until Cat Power came on. After that I dont know how many people left. This article is misleading. As for the opening bands. X-Ray Eyeballs' set did suffer from low vocals. Something I noticed at all 3 shows. I told them this and they were suprised and thought they sounded good on stage. Were they incredible? No, not really. But they were fun. At this show OJ, the guitar player/singer, broke a string and pretended to floss his teeth with it. I was especially impressed by the bass player. I was watching her left hand a lot and she really knows what she is doing on her bass. She didnt have to stare at the neck the whole time. The drummer, was good. And unlike the other 2 shows he did not wear a mask/hood thing over his head. Their guitarist/keyboard player, Alix played keys that were for me, totally inaudible. Her guitar playing came through at times, but sometimes she was just miming her playing. For that matter, so was Adeline on "King Rides By".
As for Entrance. Holy crap. I just laid my head down on the stage looking up at this guy and watched some of the most passionate singing and playing ever. I was shocked to look closely and see that he was playing a stratocaster upside down without restringing it. That is to say that the high strings were on top and the low strings on the bottom. He was playing all of his chords upside down! Very few guitar players can do this, or even bother to learn guitar this way. I think Albert King is one of them. He did at least 2 songs a capella, kind of jumping and shaking his fists. I was totally into his music and cried for a moment. I'm so glad I got to see him play (after reading so many reviews about him from the 2003 tours). Also, no disrespect to Willis Earl Beal, but his playing was a way better fit for a Cat Power concert.
As for me, I will take every review I read about this tour hereafter with a grain of salt.
