Cat Power put on a nice show, what I had always expected of her, just very minimalist and quiet. Didnt get moody and walk of stage or anything like I had been told she is known to do at times. So that was all good.

I was interested to see how Cat Power would perform after the embarrassing concert from last year. I think some people just dont get it with them. The music is supposed to be like an ethereal wash, very narcotic. Part of the charm of their live performance is Chan's shyness. It must be hard to be a performer and be shy.

There were two girls probaly on e raving on very loudly right next to me at the front. They were very rude when I told them to please be respectful and shut up. The guy who yelled out "show us yer tits" was just a prick and I really hope Chan didnt hear it. I thought that they were excellent and a set a suitable mood.
