Re: Your records collection
Most of the stuff I listen to is psychedelic rock from the 60s/70s. Here is a link to my record collection if anyone is interested (obviously there are many, many things I want but don't yet own)

Re: Your records collection
There are a few hundred LP's here!
I have close to 140 LP's in my collection. A good third of them are Beatles related stuff (almost every solo albums), including rather rare records. The rest is basically the complete Bob Dylan discography (with a few records still missing), a good chunk of The Kinks albums, and of course Cat Power albums + many isolated records: a couple Rolling Stones & Byrds here and there, etc.
And probably a few more this week-end if the european tour is really canceled: i would need consolation.

The tour is not canceled but i couldn't resist buying these LP's:
I didn't buy the last one for it's sheer quality but because it was one the 2 McCartney studio albums missing in my collection.

Il y a des foires aux disques tous les week-ends jusqu'à Noël dans mon coin: ça sent le craquage de budget par compensation...
Re: Your records collection
A few more today:
All of these records are original UK first pressings
With its original inner sleeve
And my third All Things Must Pass (but don't be afraid, i'm going to sell one of the other 2)
And 2 famous Wings singles
Give Ireland Back to the Irish, famous because it was banned by the BBC
And the single released a couple months after it, in reaction to the ban: a song for children!

Impressive collection!
Considering that we have more or less the same records, i was wondering if you know Bill Callahan?
If not, i'm sure that you would enjoy "Apocalypse".
Re: Your records collection
I must admit I only know him through Bathysphere and his relationship with Chan. I think I took a look at his profile on Allmusic and the lo-fi aspect has interested me but so far, I haven't listened to his music. So, thanks for your advice, that's perfect 'cause I almost forgot him ! I'll have listened to Apocalypse by the end of the day !
Re: Your records collection
^ Awesome! Especially, the MMT.

Re: Your records collection
I've sold the Revolver copy that i bought 2 weeks ago (i already have an original UK pressing) and with that money i bought those 3 records:
I've been looking for ages for such a nice copy of "Lola", with its original gatefold cover and at a decent price.
The US back cover of Songs of Leonard Cohen is very cool. We didn't have this drawing on european versions of this album. At last i've found one!

Re: Your records collection
Yeah "Lola" is such a great album, one of their latest masterpieces with "Muswell Hillbillies" in my opinion
