Upcoming event: Seeing her tonight in Hollywood. This is my first time seeing her and I'm super excited. I'm wearing my bootlegged Cat Power shirt and bringing the Dear Sir original 10" to get signed in case I happen to meet her. Should be a fun day.

Get video if you can! Get that album signed! Have fun!! Last show for some time so it'll probably be a really good one. Hopefully some suprises. Cant wait to hear about it.

The full name for this shop, which is actually more of a party space than a retail venue, is the Glamour Cat Fashion Concept Store. Later…Live with Jools Holland will return on April 9 with guests including Suede and Cat Power.

The long-running music show will start its 42nd series with the first in eight half-hour live shows on BBC 2 at 10PM on Tuesday, April 9. Suede will appear to perform songs from their new album 'Bloodsports' while Cat Power will make a rare live appearance in the UK, playing songs from her 2012 album 'Sun'.

A longer version of Later…Live with Jools Holland will air on Friday, April 12.

So the information was right: Cat Power will indeed be in Europe in April, but most probably not for concerts but for TV/Radio appearances.

It looks like that the medias promo tour that was canceled due to Chan's illness is finally on.
I expect something on the radio too. That would be really cool and it might boost the album sales. I also expect the Manhattan video to be released very, very soon.

On tomorrow’s (Friday, 4/4) episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Cat Power backed by The Roots will take to the stage to perform a rendition of “Manhattan”. Early next week she’ll kick off the new season of Later… With Jools Holland with a live performance that we’ve heard will be extra-special.

Yes, i think that it was cancelled otherwise someone would have talked about it by now. i'm still trying to find out.
