This is the first concert of the Sun tour and the public debut of Chan's new backing band. The support for this concert was Addiquit and Los Del La Vega.

Looks like she is playing her repaired Danelectro (the headstock was broken off). I dont think that guitar has been seen in concert since 2006. Cool!

I can't believe it: i'm not bothered by her haircut anymore! And indeed she's playing guitar!

I didnt expect all eleven songs from the album (and a bonus track)! This is awesome. Great setlist!

And they played the whole album! The only missing song seems to be FIRE.
It is going to be very difficult to wait until december to watch the show. I'm so happy that i bought tickets for 2 shows.

As it was a concert in Miami where he lives, i kinda hoped that Iggy could appear on stage for Nothin but Time.

Can't you watch it on a friend's computer?

So in Cherokee and Manhattan, Nico is playing additional drums. Adeline seems to always be on guitar and her solo on "Cherokee" is dead on. I cant tell if Chan's own backing vocal is actually playing during Manhattan or if its just the girls doing back up or if its both.

I don't want to annoy them with that. If i was able to wait SUN for so long, i can wait a couple of days to watch a few videos. I'm yet very happy that Chan was finally able to start her tour and that we already have so many informations about the concert!

I really like the girl backing vocals. They sound really close to Chan. Good mix.

I dont see much of a stage set in any of these pictures. I wonder if she is still going to try to do that. I really liked that idea.

From what we've read on Twitter, there should have been some video device at some point but as you said, it might come later. After all Chan lost some time with her health issues.

These photos show a huge change from her latest Dirty Delta Blues concerts: now we can see her face! Anyway it really looks like a Rock concert now.
Does it sound like the album?

"Bully" sounds pretty close to the DDBB style. No huge change on this one.

"Cherokee" and "Manhattan" are really close to the album. I think parts of the backing tracks from the album are being used on both. For one, you can hear bass on "Cherokee" and no one is playing bass. You also hear that distinct quick sliding bass riff after she sings "To the sky...". The eagle scream is present (YES). Additional guitar can also be heard. "Manhattan" has the exact same programmed beat playing, and then both Nico and Alianna adding drum parts. The keyboard could also be right from the album as well. She's letting Adeline and I think Nico as well, take the higher vocal parts and they sound great. Chan herself sounds pretty good despite her throat problems. She was said to be drinking herbal tea throughout the set. I cant wait to see a video of "Peace And Love" or "Real Life" or really just about any other song. So cool that she is back on tour again!
